History

On March 19th, 2003 we started the ProRroma Foundation in Romania under the initiative of the ProRomi Foundation in the Netherlands . The collaboration between Romania and the Netherlands , as far as the projects amongst the poorest Roma are concerned, dates back to 1991.

ProRroma has projects in many districts of Romania , for example Bihor, Cluj and Covasna, and the number of working areas is growing. By now, we have worked over 16 years with the poorest Roma. We are convinced that they need our attention and support now more than ever.
